Homemade Carp Boilies Catch More Fish Especially When You Exploit Potent Bioactive Sweeteners!
You know that many carp anglers try to get above average catches using ready made baits and fail. It’s a big shame and yet it’s a huge problem, and I know the bait industry is failing anglers everywhere. All the hype can’t hide the fact that average anglers using ready-made bait only land ordinary catches the vast majority of the time! It may sound strange, but all the guys I know who make their own homemade baits are the best rods on the waters they fish. A big reason is that only they operate their totally unique bait recipes with absolutely no competition from other anglers using the exact same bait! This is an incredibly powerful perk! Here are some powerful bait recipes and sweetener secrets revealed!
Some carp receptors are particularly sensitive to sugary substances. For example, carp resent glucose from broken aquatic plants, but they get little instant energy from most of their natural foods, even though they catabolize some of their most energy-abundant protein-rich foods. I have been using glucose syrup for years; what makes more sense than harnessing the energy fuel into which carbohydrate foods are broken down internally?
From a nutritional point of view, feeds and baits essentially concern vital energy. And without this for cellular respiration, organisms die! Even at the microscopic level of single-celled bacteria, their survival and multiplication can be completely halted when some aspect of the energy supply or energy release mechanism is shut down; sweeteners are therefore addictive to fish and humans. I think of both as incredibly organized networks of single cells that are inherently intelligent organisms.
It makes sense that the roof of the carp’s mouth is teeming with concentrations of palatial receptors, particularly helping carp to detect and instinctively decide whether to simply sample objects and solutions or repeatedly consume them – or avoid them! Feedback to brain receptors signals motor impulses from carp to muscles, etc. to continue to feed (or not.) It is based on the vital need, the biological and energetic value at that moment, or the physiological impacts, etc. that a detected substance has on an individual fish. Genetically individual fish and different strains are more sensitive to certain sweeteners; therefore exploit several sweeteners and not only Talin! (Avoid Aspartame and Splenda – they are toxic!)
Baits containing a mixture of sweeteners will likely be tested more than once by an individual fish or by more than one fish on multiple occasions; leading to more hooked fish! Talin is a trade name for Thaumatin B, a protein sweetener from the African fruit Katemfe (yes, fruit contains protein!) Talin improves the palatability of baits, making them eaten more repetitively, increasing your chances of have more connections. Interestingly, it masks sour, sour flavors; many popular peach flavors are bitter!
Talin seems to naturally replicate a type of signaling nerves, so I think that’s one of the reasons it’s so powerful. I would characterize some forms of betaine as sweeteners, not just actual power triggers.
Glycerin (glycerol) has proven itself beyond just a flavor base. It is a low glycemic calorie source containing more calories than sugar with unlimited ability to mix with water; absolutely ideal for dispersing bait substances in solution! Natural vanilla terpenes and synthetic sweet flavors are also sweeteners… I would also classify sweet and sugary oils as addictive substances, including sweet bulk oils, as well as evaporated and condensed milks. Geranium and anise oils are deliciously proven, as is the deliberately sweet garlic oil. Cinnamon oil is very overlooked for sweet baits!
Natural sweeteners such as honey cause a spike in blood sugar and an instant energy boost in the body! This spike in blood sugar creates an increase in uric acid and a dump of glutamic acid in the blood, which relaxes muscle tension in the body. This is an addictive effect of many drugs, for example opiates, cocaine, etc. it is the addictive “relaxing rush” effect of nicotine and the effect of processed beers in the body. Beer hops are from the same family as Cannabacea (hemp and cannabis.) The bioactive components have similar effects after degradation in the body (marijuana can be grafted into hops!)
Concentrated carrot and beet juices are naturally bioactive sweeteners. Lactose (milk sugar), whey protein, caseins, 5 quart milk powder, Vitamealo, etc. have other internal effects on humans and carp, aside from simple sweetness or taste and odor. Note that many substances like milk are highly stimulating in solution and when consumed, even though they cannot be fully digested naturally in the body! Many internal effects of sweeteners have nothing to do with the sweet taste, such as the immune-boosting compounds in honey and its various other antioxidant protective substances that science has yet to identify! See how many sweeteners are addictive or temporarily addictive, even when used at low levels?
The secrets of baits are not just about what is currently used, but how the substances work, how they are applied, what they are used with, how they internally impact the carp’s life roles and processes, how they react with water and how they enhance other bait substances in many ways when in solution and in contact with fish receptors, etc.
Many sweetening agents increase the penetrating action of water in baits, thus promoting a much more beneficial production of concentrated bait substances in solution; which carp detects the easiest! This is an essential point especially when considering the substances to include for cold water baits! Fall is a great time to make new homemade baits and move away from the underperforming ready-made baits that have already made fish suspicious when in close proximity; by definition, this is any ready-made bait that has ever hooked fish! Remember that the bait anglers use directly program and condition fish behaviors so that fish become very suspicious of the bait that has hooked them.
In massive contrast, when fish are faced with a bait that has never hooked them before, what do you think of the fish’s response? The fish feed much more confidently on a totally new food source and in real opposition to the HNV bait theory I have had more big fish angling a totally new homemade bait on water each session than ‘by establishing the highest quality HNV baits. This is my 35 year experience of carp fishing. At the start of the year few anglers had few HNV baits and so these made a huge difference but guess what, these days everyone and their dogs are fishing HNV baits so their advantage is considerably deteriorated, see! In fact, so many anglers struggle or get average results with the popular ready-made HNV baits, it’s laughable!
My e-book readers take out the ready made baits such as Mainline Cell Boilies and others all over UK waters and overseas. Enzyme activity in such baits is certainly not the ultimate answer to getting the most bites as they can actually limit the fish’s reactions to the bait. Many off-the-shelf baits are supposed to be the ultimate bait, but the next month or year another bait from that company is released and put forward to replace the old ultimate bait.
See the truth that there is no ultimate bait because fish will always react with fear of these ultimate baits being hooked with ready made baits which the flock mindlessly uses in an attempt to obtain above average results! Trying to get better than average results using ready-made bait that the average fisherman in the herd uses is just plain foolish; you simply lose all your competitive advantages!
Start thinking logically and sanely; start with a completely new and totally unique homemade bait that you have made and your fish will have no reason to be suspicious. You keep all the competitive advantages and all the secrets about the modes of action of your bait recipe, the ingredients, the flavors used and much more; Think about it! Revealed in my unique e-books on ready-made baits and homemade baits for carp and catfish, much more powerful information is available.
