Close Kept Secrets to Weight Loss Lesson #2
Welcome to lesson 2. First, I believe that gratitude is so important in everyday life. With that in mind, I am amazed at the response of this online magazine and I want to thank you for trusting the process and believing in yourself. When I woke up the next day after this deployment and saw the number of people who had subscribed, I burst into tears. I owe God everything I have created. He led me to this and through Him I will help you. I am here to be a light so that you know that you already have inner wholeness. We have several layers that we are going to reveal. You can then make new choices in your weight loss efforts and create daily plans for yourself. You will be amazed at the difference. My purpose is to get results!
As we continue through each lesson, I will also go over a summary of the content of the previous lessons. Hey, it’s okay to hear information over and over again, right? Remember, it takes 21 days to create a habit. In Lesson #1 we discussed how everything is made up of energy. Your thoughts are pure energy. Whatever you put out, you get back. The law of attraction has been established and it will manifest the things in your life that you attract with your thoughts. Changing your thoughts is your biggest challenge. It was for me, and it took daily effort to do it. As you look at your life right now, what have you been attracting in your thoughts? If you are overweight, what do you believe about yourself? If you believed that you could actually lose weight, these thoughts would have been released into the universe to produce a completely different response.
I mentioned Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal Your Life earlier, and in it she talks about how anger is at the core of weight issues. Did you do your homework now? The homework was to write down the people in your life that you are angry with and remember that you can include yourself. You also had to write down what they did that made you angry.
For me, I felt no love from either parent, but I had such a special bond with my father that I held his energy in a more destructive way in my body. My father died when I was 14, and there’s a whole story behind it in the e-book Close Kept Secrets to Overcoming Illness. I felt responsible for his life and his death, and that book details everything about how I attracted a horrible disease because I had so much negative energy from my childhood. With that in mind, I carried anger for not feeling loved and having the childhood I believed I deserved.
Okay, are you ready to release that anger? First, let me explain the process. As an Integrative Body Therapist, I work with clients face-to-face or over the phone to help release their pain using Rapid Eye Technology and Emotional Freedom Techniques. Energy is energy and it can be used all over the world. I heard from one subscriber that he felt a tingling sensation after the whole process, so it works. We are on this journey together, supported by God. It is similar to prayer energy – one does not need to be present to see the prayer work.
What is Rapid Eye Technology (RET)? It is a technique developed to help release pain and trauma so that one can experience love and joy on a deeper level. It stimulates the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep cycle, a natural release process. Your eyes flutter when you are in REM sleep, similar to watching a baby sleep, and this is where the release process takes place. How many of you have woken up in the middle of the night remembering that you had to do something? This brain of yours works for you while you sleep. Well, at RET you are up and running and publishing your stuff. There is also guided imagery, charka clarification, insurance and life skills that are also part of this process. RET is great for balancing left and right brain because the left brain needs to know why while the right brain sees the positive/spiritual side of the world. In addition, we use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). The starting point of this technique is that when a person experiences a negative emotion, such as anger, there is a disturbance in the body’s energy system, which leads to various symptoms. EFT is similar to acupuncture without the needles.
When I work with clients, we go through six to twelve sessions. Depending on the amount of items included will determine the duration of the sessions, so keep that in mind. The results are absolutely amazing, as the person feels lighter after the release.
Now I have to mention a disclaimer because these processes might trigger you. I know I know! Disclaimers are now a part of our lives.
Here it is:
You understand that these ezine sessions are for weight loss, stress reduction and personal growth and you take full responsibility for them. This is not a substitute for medical examinations and/or diagnoses performed by doctors. You agree to hold Therapist completely harmless from any issues that may arise as a result of these ezine sessions.
Okay, that’s out of the way. Now let’s continue.
These processes address the root cause of most weight problems – the need to use food to soothe the anxiety you feel with unresolved emotional issues. Until the underlying problem is treated, the need to overeat will continue. This is why many weight loss programs fail in the long run. People can lose weight by using them, but because the underlying emotional problem is still there, the need to process the emotions with food will always be there. My experience working with overweight people has been that the underlying emotion needs to be released in order to make new choices; otherwise they just keep coming back.
Now sit down and think about your anger. Rate where you are on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) with your anger we talked about earlier – who are you angry with and why. Now, if you don’t feel anger, recognize if it’s sadness, guilt, or shame.
Release process
Express your intentions, what you want from your personal session and ask for help from God, your angels or guides. If unpleasant feelings arise, acknowledge them by writing down your feelings. Please read the entire process (you do several things) to the end of the ezine before continuing.
1) Sit comfortably in a chair or sofa. Find two places. One in every corner of the room at eye level.
2) Move your eyes left and right as fast as possible to release the intention (when you move your eyes from left to right, look up at the seam between the ceiling and the wall, then slowly move your gaze down the seam between the wall and the floor, and then return to eye level. It’s like a “zigzag” .
3) After a few seconds, open your eyes wide and squint them shut while breathing in and out. Do this up to three times.
4) If the feeling still seems strong, go back to step 2 and start over. Do this process only twice.
5) Open your mouth wide and take a deep breath, hold it for a second, then blow the energy out so it dissolves into the light. Do this three times.
While doing the above process, you can say the following while moving your eyes:
Release all trauma / Release all anger / Release all sadness / Release all frustration / Release all sadness / Release all helplessness / Release all hopelessness / Release all pity / Release all poor me / Release it.
Energy redirection
Tap the pressure points shown below with the first two fingers (index and middle finger) of your hand 7-10 times while repeating the phrases below. Here are some you can use or you can come up with your own to make it unique to your situation.
You always fill in the blank and then complete the sentence with the same sentence.
Even though my mother didn’t like me, I accept myself deeply and completely.
Even though I didn’t feel love from my father, I accept myself deeply and completely.
Even though my mother doesn’t think I’m good enough, I accept myself deeply and completely.
Although I am ashamed of my weight, I accept myself deeply and completely.
1) The beginning of your eyebrows towards your nose
2) Side of the eye (either eye)
3) Under the center of the eye on the cheekbone (either eye)
4) Under the nose
5) Under the lower lip
6) Just below the collarbone (either collarbone)
7) Underarm, about 4 inches under arm (either arm)
8) Tap the entire top of the head for good energy flow
9) Make a fist and rub clockwise over your heart
Don’t worry if you’re not sure if you hit the right spot and said it right. You’ll still get results. There are many energy points all over your body. Trust in yourself and know that God is with you every step of the way.
Now rate the intensity on a scale of 1-10. If you are not at 1 or 2, repeat tapping.
You can grab all day long, especially when food issues start to set in (even though I crave chips, I deeply and completely accept myself). I do a morning routine of tapping and doing exercises, meditation and prayer. I tap all day and it keeps me centered and then I also do night routines. I tap when I have to do a presentation and I experience fear. I tap when I am about to have a conversation that is uncomfortable and I feel fear. I knock on my car. I’m sure it’s funny to the person next to me in the car. Just like me, this will become part of your daily routine.
Positive reinforcements
The mind does not know the difference between real and imagined. Athletes use this concept to imagine themselves already accomplished. They imagine themselves victorious. This separates those who succeed and those who continue to face challenges. You have to believe in yourself as if you are already at the desired weight.
With this in mind, it is important to use these as if they are already happening. When you do this, you manifest and attract exactly what you focus your thoughts on. Use these or create your own and say them throughout the day…several times a day. It allows you to put them on sticky notes or 3×5 cards to remind you to do them. Put them on your fridge, your mirror… anywhere you can see them.
Thank God!

If you feel like you’re not quite in this space and time, here are some things you can do:
o Press the tip of your tongue firmly against the roof of your mouth behind the front teeth and hold your fingertips together for about 30 seconds.
o Place your right hand on top of your head imagining energy entering through the top of your head and flowing down your spine connecting to the center of the earth.
o Tap the entire top of the head
o Drink water
We are a great team! I appreciate you and know that you are an amazing child of God, whole and perfect just as He created you!
Stay tuned for more lessons and to hear about effective cleansing and fat burning products. For the past nine years, I have been looking for a nutritional product line that I could invest in.
