I spent some really precious moments eating with them, watching favorite family series together, reminiscing about all the old memories that almost disappeared from your thoughts, and I realized – I LOVE MY FAMILY!!

In 2020, many of you not only ate delicious food and desserts, but also tried it. Agree? Since I got married in 2008, I have never seen my husband go into the kitchen to do anything other than eat, but this year was different. He asked me to sit for a while and he would come back from the kitchen. And after some time he brought a delicious semolina bread… my eyes couldn’t believe it became his regular habit after some time. I hope the lock lasts longer!! ��

iv. No more seasonal illnesses. Are you wondering why? I have reasons to tell you…

COVID-19 has definitely put us all in a difficult situation, but I would definitely say what I saw in the last year. My two children, one is 11 and the other is 4, were used to the common seasonal flu at least twice a year since birth. And then what? The rushes to the doctors, the loss of studies and the emotional trauma I had to go through to get them back to good health… I get chills just thinking about it all!!

By the middle of 2019, I researched the reasons why illnesses have decreased in recent months (like I had enough time at home, you know!) and finally figured out why my kids haven’t caught the seasonal flu this year. . My stay-at-home kids were definitely the least prone to allergies and common infections that they usually experienced earlier (like colds, viruses, coughs, etc.) when they moved to school to play with their peers. Apart from this, they were also protected from air pollution and other environmental flu when we were all at home and had almost no social interaction. And now you know the secret too!! This pandemic is a disaster for everyone, but not so much if we are at home. I thank God every day and I hope they always stay healthy. While I don’t want to hurt their friendships, I hope they play it safe in the years to come and the environment is kinder to them.

People with so many reasons to feel blessed, I can definitely conclude that even though this pandemic will soon be over, I hope that this “study from home” and “work from home” scenarios will continue for years to come. May we never see any more pandemics in the future, but comply with this new norm!
