How to Cook BBQ Ribs in Rotisserie Oven – Rotisserie Grilling Recipe
Yes, you can cook delicious BBQ ribs in the oven. It is possible to use a Ronco Rotisserie oven, and I have a delicious barbecue recipe to prove it. However, let’s start by pre-cooking the ribs. Before grilling BBQ ribs in the rotisserie oven, baby back ribs are best after braising for 15 minutes and thicker ribs after braising for about 15-20 minutes.
After pre-cooking, marinate them in one of the following marinades at cooks.com:
For fruity taste:
About 3 1/2 lbs. pork ribs or pork loin
* 1 can (6 ounces) of pineapple juice
* 1/2 c. soy sauce
* 2 tbsp. brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon. ground ginger
* 1 chopped onion
* 1 garlic clove, minced
Mix all the ingredients except the ribs in a tightly closed jar. Shake well. Pour over the ribs.
For strong power:
* 4 lbs. pork or beef ribs
* 3 stock cubes (beef)
* 1 1/2 c. water, boiling
* 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
* 1/2 c. brown sugar
* 1/4 c. soy sauce
Dissolve the beef stock cubes in boiling water. Add garlic powder, brown sugar, soy sauce. Pour over the ribs. Put the ribs in the fridge with either marinade. Marinate, turning occasionally, for several hours or overnight before grilling. Drain the ribs; set the marinade aside. Brush often with marinade when grilling BBQ ribs in the rotisserie oven for up to 20-30 minutes, depending on thickness.
Eventuallyhow do you put the BBQ ribs in the baking dish?
One way is to use the kabob rods that are part of the Ronco Rotisseries accessory kit:
1. Arrange the skewer in the resting area of the baking pan.
2. Place 4 empty kabob bars side by side in the holes around the wheel with the spring ends on the left side.
3. Using the second kabob stick, thread it through the first rib.
4. Take the last kabob stick and thread it through the last rib.
5. Wrap the ribs around the empty kabob sticks already arranged in the skewer assembly until you run out.
6. Place the kabob sticks attached to the ribs into the gear with the spring ends to the left.
7. Thread on both racks at the same time as described above.
(Note that when using the Ronco Rotisserie Compact model, it is recommended to make 1 rack of BBQ ribs when using the Ronco Rotisserie Compact model and at least 1 rack when using the standard model or larger.)
